03.Mandeville Canyon Modern — 2022
A modern barn with Scandinavian influence, sheathed in European oak planks and adorned with a sculptural Vincenzo DeCotiis chandelier as its centerpiece. The concept here was to create a guest house for the property, as a counterpoint to the main residence. Our client’s request was to design a space that was multifunctional: an office, a family room, and an auxiliary entertaining area for larger dinner parties. Our flexible floor plan lends itself to optimal gathering. When combined, the desk and dining table were designed to create modular seating for up to 22 people
